Ph.D.From 1971 to 1974 he headed the research project "excavation Magdalenenberg. From 1974 to 1977 he was the assistant at the Chair for holding pre-and early history of the University of Regensburg. After the Habilitation, he was at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg as a scientific council and from 1980 worked as a professor of prehistory and early history.

Acheivements / Contributions :

Since 1991 he coordinates the archaeological and archaeological and scientific studies on the "iceman". Konrad Spindler published 35 monographs and over 150 articles on archaeological topics from the Stone Age to modern times in Europe.
